Thanks for sharing these--as usual, a few would make good (digital) jigsaw puzzles as well, where the ideal ranges of balances for composition and lighting differ a bit from what might suit humans.

I really want to know what is going on at that papal conclave!

The fallen redwood is probably my favorite, but the Glasgow one is also moody and wonderful. Looks like an enjoyable summer!

Heh, it was a running of Ada Palmer's papal election simulation. Here's Cory Doctorow on it (as is often the case with Doctorow, it's annoyingly factually incorrect about some things, but is OK on the overall big picture) and here's a more academic depiction.
